It’s a fact of life for modern singles, right? From my experience, the online dating experience can be brutal for men…and occasionally a lot of fun.
I am an early adopter type, so I jumped into online dating years ago.
I would put myself out there thoughtfully and earnestly, really wanting to connect to interesting women and 9 times out of ten, crickets…I’d hear nothing back from the women I was attracted to.
Sometimes I would break through the mysterious veil of messages, replies, sizing-up and flirts and actually go on a date with a woman.
These were usually pretty awesome first dates. By the time we made it to an actual date, we were pretty well matched…but I can see why guys can just say ‘fuck it’ and start sending dick pics or blunt one-line advances. It’s tough to get there.
What was I doing wrong? What did I do that worked? WTF online dating!?
I want to crack this code, so you can have better results than I did.
I got on the phone with Amy Baglan, founder and CEO of the newest dating site on the block, MeetMindful.com.
I really wanted the women’s perspective of online dating and no woman knows the landscape better than Amy.
As you’ll hear, women in these online dating sites have a vastly different experience. They are often totally inundated with messages and requests, to the point of overwhelm.
Amy and I cover a lot of ground in this talk and she reveals some awesome and practical tips you can use to have WAY more success in your online dating life.
